1 Year of Search for Sustainable Schools in Brazil: Virtual Regional Meeting with Selected Schools

As a celebration of the 1 year since the launch of the Search for Sustainable Schools in Brazil, Akatu Institute has organized a virtual regional meeting in order to promote exchange of knowledge and integration between the 5 selected schools.

During the meeting, each selected school had the opportunity to present its Action Plan and comment on how the implementation phase has been. At the end, there was a open discussion sesssion to debate how each school has been overcoming some challenges, such as how to engage teachers, students and community whilst maintaining security measures against COVID-19, or how to incorporate sustainability into their curriculum.

The virtual meeting was a very rich and exciting event that enabled the selected schools to learn from each other’s experiences and inspire them as the implementation phase enters its final stretch. Akatu Institute thanks the participation of all selected schools in Brazil!
