Sustainable Schools team in Cambodia working online under the pandemic

In response to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Cambodia has shut down all schools since March 2020. In this context, the Global Search for Sustainable Schools implementing team in Cambodia moves the project forward through working online. The project team uses Zoom and telegram in communicating with the selected schools. Online communications enabled the team to gain a better understanding of the activity plans and principles of the schools. The team is currently reviewing the school plans, following a few guidelines and principles, including the national guidance on eco-schools and the principles learned from the sustainable schools in the Philippines.
The project team in Cambodia is also working on the communication plan to guide the outreaching activities on sustainable schools initiative, covering the topics including sustainable lifestyles, good environmental practices and learning.
